Every year in springtime students from national and international universities are invited to take part in this competition to find the best answer to a data mining problem. The winners of the DMC Contest 2007 will get attractive prizes, like f.e. the participation in the Conference on Knowledge Discovery and Data Mining (KDD) 2007 on August 12-15,2007, in San Jose/California/USA (including flight, lodging, stay for some days, allowance) as well as other worthful prizes (notebook, book prizes etc.)

The beginning of DMC Contest was an April 10, 2007. Until May 31, 2007, interested student can register for a participation.
